My website: www.yazbagz.com is under construction right now. So look around my blog to get an idea of things that I do and the bags and products I have for sale.

I will get some links up for purchasing the items available in short order. But if you have a request, don't hesitate to ask! I love custom orders.

This blog is to showcase and market original purses, bags and accessories designed and sewn by me, Jenny Yazzie. Each bag is one of a kind, though some styles are similar in look. The jeans are from familiar brand names.

As a note of interest, I do take custom orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion of a custom order. If you have an old pair of jeans or material you just can't part with, I can make a bag for you so you can always keep that treasured item close to you.

Pendleton Diaper Bag

Here is the latest diaper bag I made. I haven't made one in quite a while. The customer requested Pendleton and pink for a girl. I was perplexed how to incorporate both of those things into 1 bag. Here is the result complete with wipes case and changing pad. I embroidered a Native Design on the cream colored plain Pendleton. The result is unique and striking.

The changing pad and wipes case have cream fleece on them. I decided to use this because the changing pad may need to be washed and Pendleton is not washable (only dry clean).

Pendleton bags

Here are the new bags I designed from Pendleton material. So far I have only done custom orders but I hope to get some made for general orders, especially for the fast approaching Christmas holiday. Please contract me to order one for yourself.
This one is a larger, tote bag style. The outside has 2 side pockets and the inside has 1 zipper pocket and 3 pouch pockets.

This bag is smaller, yet it still features the same 6 pockets as the larger one.

This use of Pendleton fabric has opened up many new possibilities for many combinations of fabrics and types of bags. I'm working on a wallet right now as well. Stay tuned for that big reveal!

New Headband Inspiration!

I love it when creativity strikes! My daughter loves headbands but has a hard time wearing the plastic or metal kind that hug behind your ears. I set about to figure out how to make some stylish yet non-irritating headbands. My younger 2 daughters "tested" them out to make sure they were comfortable to wear. I can't get the test one off my 13 year old. These are a gift form my oldest daughter but I will be making many more. They have the "scruffy" look with threads fraying on the edges; so fun.
The flower on the brown one is removable (see the 2 pics). This feature makes these headbands SO VERSATILE! Keep your eyes out for the ones for sale coming soon!

Recent embroidery projects

I have made some really fun embroidery projects lately. Here are some of the creations:
This is a baby blanket that I made an applique for. I was pleased with the result.

This is my new "YazBagz label"! I plan to include it on almost every product I make. Very exciting!
These are some items that I made for the stat girls for my son's wrestling team.
This was a special order for a wedding gift. Yes, I created the Native American design.
Here is are two apron that I recently made.
