This blog is to showcase and market original purses, bags and accessories designed and sewn by me, Jenny Yazzie. Each bag is one of a kind, though some styles are similar in look. The jeans are from familiar brand names.


As a note of interest, I do take custom orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion of a custom order. If you have an old pair of jeans or material you just can't part with, I can make a bag for you so you can always keep that treasured item close to you.

Embroidery Fun


 I have been learning so much about machine embroidery and digitizing. Here are some of my creations, both original and edited from someone else' work to make it my own.
My first ever attempt at using my machine. On my son's backpack now.

My logo. Top one not full enough. bottom perfect except for the extra threads-easy fix.
 I love seeing my logo as an embroidery file! I have made a few other attempts but the stitching has come out weird. Yesterday, I discovered a tool within my embroidery program that creates the stitches just the way I've been trying to do. YES!!
Hawaiian Flip Flops - created by someone else, modified by me.
 The flip flops were filled in with stitching. I removed the bottom stitching and created an outline for the shoes instead. This move allows this file to be printed on t-shirts since filled in patterns can tear up fabric. This was a fun discovery project. My first attempt, I was going to create all the outline stitches by hand. Then I decided to start digging around to see if some of the shapes could be made into freestyle shapes. First try, the oval allowed for line movement. Then I began with a thin line and decided it needed to be thicker. Voila! Done! Oh the possibilities!

 The pineapple was a special request from a customer. I didn't like the selection before me (too costly or ugly) so I decided to use my new skills learned from the flip flops (above) and create one. I first took a simple clipart then cleaned it up in Photoshop. Then imported it into my program and clicked the magic button. BEAUTIFUL!

The monogram was from stock lettering. It turned out nice.
 The monogrammed bag was a custom order. It is in the same style as my Fancy Totes. I made a makeup bag for this customer for Christmas and now they requested a bag to match.

The 2 Boys & Girls Clubs blankets were a custom order. Lots of learning took place for the creation of these projects. I was very pleased with the results.
