My website: www.yazbagz.com is under construction right now. So look around my blog to get an idea of things that I do and the bags and products I have for sale.

I will get some links up for purchasing the items available in short order. But if you have a request, don't hesitate to ask! I love custom orders.

This blog is to showcase and market original purses, bags and accessories designed and sewn by me, Jenny Yazzie. Each bag is one of a kind, though some styles are similar in look. The jeans are from familiar brand names.

As a note of interest, I do take custom orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion of a custom order. If you have an old pair of jeans or material you just can't part with, I can make a bag for you so you can always keep that treasured item close to you.

Men's Messenger Bag

Here is yet another custom request. This person supplied all the items for this bag which included jeans, a Lakers jersey, a Celtics jersey. I tried to include all important aspects of each jersey. Here is the result:

The inside include 4 pockets and a velcro strap to secure a laptop computer. The inside is also padded to protect a laptop.

Messenger Bag

This bag was awesome to construct and even more awesome to see the finished product. It is large enough for books and binders to fit in it. The adjustable strap makes it able to carry across the body.

The pockets are original artwork from Zack Yazzie. This process was so fun! He sketched it, then scanned it, then colored it on the computer. Then we used computer fabric and printed out the finished product. AWESOME! **Custom requests can be made of him for a fee.** (Contact me for more information.)

Custom order; not for sale.

Custom John Deere Bag

This bag was a custom order. My friend asked me to make a bag out of a pair of jeans that were her father's. He loved tractors and so she bought John Deere fabric for me to use. This is the result.
This bag turned out really cute and certainly it a "one-of-a-kind" bag. Thanks Shayla for this opportunity!
The long strap is adjustable for greater versatility. The inside has both a zippered pocket and 3 pencil pocket and another loose pocket. The lining is another print of John Deere fabric too. I took care to match the pattern over the pockets.
Side view of belt, ring and strap
I had an old Wrangler tag that I made into a zipper pull.
If you have a sentimental pair of jeans or really ANY article of clothing, I can "preserve" it! Just ask.

Tattoo Print Diaper Bag

OOH! OOH! OOH! This is a twist on the conventional diaper bag motif! The wild print was a custom purchase by the buyer of this bag. The embellishments really make this bag stand out! The bag features the traditional size of 16 inches wide x 4 inches deep x 12 inches tall. It also has 3 bottle pockets inside and a zippered pocket as well. But that's where the tradition ends. The strap is 2 inches wide with a burlap weaved strap on top and denim underneath. The strap is strong and durable. The start studs accent the fabric print perfectly! SOLD (order one for yourself!)

This will be the way I will be doing most of the changing pads from now on. It really showcases the print!

Tattoo Tote Bag

Wow! This one is completely different from anything else I've done! This was a custom order where the buyer provided her own fabric. What a fun project that will surely spring a new line! The tote bag is reversible so whatever your mood, the bag will suit you perfectly! Check out the available tote bags here.

This is another custom order. This was made for a 16-year-old. However, many admiring eyes of adults wanted to buy this one! Check it out! The bag features brown leather handles, brown with white polka-dots fabric for the lining, a fashionable belt, Calvin Klein jeans, and studs to "bling" it up!

Brown with Aqua Flowers Bag

This bag was a custom order. The buyer chose the fabric from the swatches I have posted and then chose the size of bag she wanted. She was specific that she wanted a bag that was the size of my diaper bags, but she wouldn't use it for a diaper bag. I went to work to create this masterpiece! Check out the details below:

20-inch leather straps for comfort and quality

The jewels on the straps, the studs and the handmade zipper pull help "bling" up the bag! :)

The flowers on the jeans are hand embroidered.

The contents of this bag won't escape with this closure!

The inside is roomy with a secure zippered pocket.

Multi-Stripe Diaper Bag #2

This bag is similar to the other multi-stripe bag I posted previously, but as with all my bags, none are exactly the same. This bag has a cute green and white polka-dot ribbon on the handle and green lining. The bag also features 3 bottle pockets and a zippered pocket inside. The dimensions of the bag are: 16" wide, 4" deep, 12" tall. The handle can extend to 40" long. The embellishments include the faux patch on the front and "diamond" rivets along the pockets in the front and the back.

This changing pad is the one for the other bag but I gave the pad to this person before I finished the bag and forgot to take a picture of it. They look the same essentially.

Pendleton Diaper Bag

This bag was a custom order. The top band of the bag was made from a wool Pendleton scarf. This was a wonderful project to complete. I had to modify a few things to make the scarf work which is fine because it stretches my abilities and helps me discover new ways to do things. This bag is probably the largest bag I've made. It is sure to hold everything mom could need for baby! The dimensions are 18" wide, 4" deep, and 14" tall. The Strap is adjustable and can extend to 40" in length. It is a beauty to behold!

The inside has 3 bottle slots and 1zippered pocket.
The bag is very structured to hold up the heavy wool top band.
